Hominy Grill: The Charleston Nasty Biscuit, fried chicken breast, cheddar cheese and sausage gravy. ($8.50) Might be the best breakfast place in town. Make sure to show up early and do not be shock to see a line out the door. Charleston, SC
Angel Oak: Limbs going every which way, a sight to see in person. It was kinda tough to find. Located behind an old church along a dirt road where gps had a hard time finding. Near Charleston, SC
Biltmore Estate: Best advice, add the audible tour for the total experience and do not forget to tour the basement level. The bottom level was the best part of the tour.
Ria's Bluebird: Pictured above, french toast with caramelized bananas. This breakfast place is well known for their buttermilk pancakes. Best tip, get there early to avoid crowds at this small cafe.
Battleship North Carolina: Best to tour during Battleship Alive or Battleship 101 events. Some people claim this ship could be haunted. We had the privilege of staying overnight and some interesting things happened through out the evening.
Caesars Head State Park: The park offers up some amazing views of South Carolina. You can easily spend a day hiking in the park, just make sure not to miss Raven Cliff Falls.
Sassafras Mountain: The highest point in South Carolina, with an elevation of 3553 ft. Not worth the trip, the view is terrible with no good vantage point.
